Established in 1982, KJP Synod Sepngi Higher Secondary School, Nongstoin is run and managed by the KJP Synod Sepngi. Today it offers an inspiring and well-rounded quality education to students from pre-primary level to Higher Secondary Level. The school maintains its aim and teaching philosophy at par with best schools across the country.

School Location: The school is located in the heart of the District Headquarter in Tiehsaw Village, Nongstoin West Khasi Hills District, Meghalaya. It is ideally situated with easy traveling distance from prime residential location. It is 1 Km away from Police Station and 2 Km from the Deputy Commissioner's Office Nongstoin. It lies opposite to the District Agriculture Office Department and Horti Hub.

Facilities: The School is situated on a 2 acres land. It has been purposely built to accommodate over 1000 students. There are 19 classrooms, a Science Lab, Computer lab, Two Common Rooms for boys and for girls, outdoor Basketball court, playground and kitchen and kitchen garden.

The School management try its level best to provide various facilities for both curricular and non-curricular activities. Every Class has their own class room with facilities of teaching aids like black board, chalk, map, charts etc. Computer Education are given to students from class V to VIII.

Curricular activities like inter house sports, creative week, Science Exhibition were also held in every academic session.
